Neptun 101

Once opening this link, the Semmelweis University Neptun portal should appear
Select your preferred language (English has been selected in this example)
Use your specific Neptun ID as the login name.
Enter the password as your date of birth following the format NeYYMMDD.
Once logging in, you need to change your password.
Go to the my ‘My Data’ tab and select ‘Settings’
should open up, enter the old password (NeYYMMDD), then enter a new password and click the ‘Change Password’ button at the bottom

At the start of each semester, you need to decide if you would like to be an active student or take a passive semester
Remember that you can not take more than 2 passive semesters in a row without prior permission
To be an active student:
- Administration > Term Registration > Find the Current Term > Enrol > Active > Fill out the form with your personal information

Subjects > Register for Subjects > make sure the filter is set to the current new semester and to "Subjects from the curriculum" > Search Subject
For each subject, make sure to register for a theory (00) and practical course (based on your group number)
If this is your first year, please avoid registering for CV/FM courses
- CV/FM courses are for students who did not pass the Final Exam, so that they can do it without having to retake all their midterms and labs
For elective subjects: Make sure to select "Elective Courses" when filtering
For Summer University: look for this subjects under "All Courses of the Institution"
